![]() Beside the citadel hit comes also through the deck, so all that crappy things on right angle and protect the flank are screwed up like who is using the Roma. This means that angled shell have an incredibly wide diagonal target. On top of that put it afloat over the water line. Roma has an enormous citadel that WG made double size of the historical one. She already has very respectable speed, good protection angled, and a Romulan Cloaking Device. The ship doesn't really need any extra form of citadel protection. That's so bad its impressive and I struggle to think of any other BB that could be capable of such horrendous shell RNG. Perfect example was a broadside Des Moines I had at 11km, fired all 9 at the citadel and managed to miss all but 1 overpen. I played Roma exclusively for a couple days and recently went back to Kii and its basically night and day in terms of rewarding a player for their ability to aim, and Kii isn't even that accurate.Īnd despite what some have said, range doesn't seem to help this. If someone has a shell fall plot for Bismarck I bet its significantly better despite similar dispersion and identical sigma.Ĭant tell you how many times I've aimed well and ended up with only 2 hits where just about any other tier 8 bb would of been 4-6 hits. Someone can prove me wrong but the high velocity and low drag effectively lengthened the ellipse zone meaning your shells are more likely to fall short or overshoot instead of hitting the target. I know irl it had dispersion issues but I bet they were never this bad. It just needs to be tightened up a fraction bit more so I don`t have to send out a hail mary with each salvo. ![]() I think the only thing really hurting this ship is the dispersion.
